Teams, automation and API
Business accounts can now work as a team, keep AI snapshots refreshing while dashboards are closed, put their brand on what they share and connect Kaptr to their own tools.
New
- Teams for Business: invite colleagues by e-mail, give each one a role (admin, editor or viewer) and work together on team dashboards. Members share the team's AI credits, with per-member usage and an optional monthly limit for each person. Each member is billed as a seat on your Business plan.
- Live co-editing on team dashboards: see who else is on the board and follow their cursors in real time.
- Your brand on shared pages, embeds and invitations (Business): set your name, logo for light and dark mode, favicon, color and footer in Settings → Brand.
- Cloud capture automation (Business): AI snapshots keep refreshing in the cloud even when the dashboard is closed, within a daily credit limit you choose.
- Notification bell, plus an optional daily e-mail of what changed on your dashboards. It is only sent when something changed and includes short AI-written "In short" summaries, at no credit cost.
- Public API (Business): create keys in Settings → API and work with your dashboards, snapshots, team and Kaptr AI from your own scripts and tools at https://kaptr.me/api/v1. The Developers page has the guide and the OpenAPI description.
- Compare two versions of a snapshot: highlight what changed, drag a slider, or view them side by side.
- Glowing frames on the whiteboard: rectangles can be Plain, Neon, Aurora or Glass.
- Settings → Subscription: see your plan, cancel at the end of the billing period and resume before it ends.
- If you signed up with e-mail and password, you can now unlink a linked Google account in Settings → Account.
Improved
- When every cloud browser is busy, Kaptr Agent now waits in line instead of failing. It shows how many runs are ahead and starts as soon as a browser is free. If it can't start in time, you aren't charged.
- Using your own AI key: the Generate bar and Ask AI show which of your models is running, and one click switches back to Kaptr's models. An invalid key is reported right away.
- AI credits, billing and plan details load faster, especially outside Europe.
Fixed
- Google Workspace exports are more dependable: results open from a link, board PDFs sent to Drive no longer stall, Slides use your presentation's own layouts, and one unreachable image no longer stops a whole report.
Security
- More hardening of the services behind Kaptr, plus continuous monitoring of the app's security policy.

Faster boards, phones and polish
Boards open much faster, Kaptr now works on phones, auto refresh is more flexible, and many everyday actions are clearer.
New
- Kaptr on your phone: the sidebar becomes a drawer, boards fit the screen for comfortable reading, and an Edit switch lets you rearrange snapshots. The navbar also adapts to smaller screens.
- Auto refresh for a whole dashboard or a single snapshot: choose an interval in the navbar's Auto refresh panel. It runs while the dashboard is open, on plans that include Auto Refresh. On Business, AI snapshots can also be refreshed automatically in the cloud.
- Delete your account yourself from Settings → Account, after confirming it's you.
- See the prorated amount before you upgrade, downgrade or change billing period.
- New refresh animation: each snapshot shows the real steps of its refresh, and its edge glows when the new image arrives.
Improved
- Boards open up to 4× faster on slower computers, with much smoother scrolling and quicker switching between dashboards.
- Embeds now use a single Embed HTML option, and Kaptr adds or leaves out the watermark automatically according to your plan.
- Refresh All sums up the whole run in one message, stops when AI credits run out, and offers to install the extension when it's needed.
- You can now undo Align and undo restoring an older version of a snapshot.
- Confirmation dialogs look and work the same everywhere, and AI error messages are friendlier, with a direct link to buy credits.
- Show the quick guide again at any time from Settings → General.
Fixed
- Kaptr no longer warns that a page has moved when only the data on it changed.
- PDF export now waits for the whole board to load.
Security
- Stronger protection for sign-in, password-reset and e-mail-change codes.
- Stronger protection for shared and public dashboards, the browser-extension connection and Kaptr AI services.

Kaptr Agent and your own AI key
Kaptr Agent is now available on Business, AI pricing is fixed and transparent, and Business accounts can bring their own AI key.
New
- Kaptr Agent (Business): browses sites for you, applies your criteria (price, place, dates…), checks each result and captures it on your board. You can stop it at any time and keep everything it has already found.
- Bring your own AI key (Business): connect an OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or OpenRouter key in Settings → AI. Requests answered by your own model cost 0 Kaptr credits.
Improved
- Every AI request now has a fixed, published credit price (Kaptr Fast, Kaptr Vision, Kaptr Agent and each Ask AI model). If there's no usable answer, no credits are charged.
- Ask AI models by plan: Gemma 4 on every plan, plus Qwen 3.8 and Kimi K2.6 on Pro and Business.
- Refreshing is simpler: the Turbo/Deep switch is gone, and one Refresh button does the job.
- Google Workspace reports now use your cropped snapshots, fit Google Slides correctly and add neatly to existing Docs.

Kaptr Vision and Fast, rebuilt
Both AI generation engines were rebuilt for every user: Kaptr Vision frames more precisely and Kaptr Fast answers much sooner.

- Kaptr Vision waits for charts to finish drawing and frames the exact table, chart or stock quote you asked for.
- Kaptr Vision skips page elements that visitors can't see, so snapshots match what's really on the page.
- When a source doesn't deliver, Kaptr Vision automatically tries others, so you get a usable snapshot more often.
- Kaptr Fast checks several sources at once and keeps the first good result, so answers arrive much faster.
- Kaptr Fast remembers which sources worked well for similar requests.

- Snapshots keep their surrounding area after a refresh, so you can still crop and extend them.

Navbar, folders and full-page refresh
A cleaner board with one bottom navbar and a menu for every snapshot, folders for your dashboards, faithful full-page refresh and a thorough redesign.

- One bottom navbar for refreshing the selected snapshot or all snapshots, plus Align, Auto refresh, History and Tools.
- Snapshot menu (right-click): favorite, duplicate, move to another dashboard, view history, download the cropped or full image, and get the embed code.
- Personal folders in the sidebar, custom icons for folders and dashboards, and drag and drop to reorganize them.
- Full-page snapshots now refresh as full pages, and selection snapshots refresh at their exact position.
