1. Current marketing site

The current Kaptr.me marketing pages are designed to work without advertising or remarketing pixels. They do not intentionally load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or another non-essential marketing tracker in the static marketing template.

No consent banner just for decoration. If a page only uses storage that is strictly necessary or an interface preference that does not require consent, Kaptr.me does not display a consent banner merely to create the appearance of compliance.

2. Essential and preference storage

Kaptr.me can use cookies or browser storage that are necessary for authentication, account security, fraud prevention, session continuity and features you explicitly request. The marketing site also stores the selected light/dark theme locally so your interface preference can persist.

Strictly necessary storage is not used for behavioral advertising. Clearing browser storage can sign you out, reset preferences or require a security check again.

3. Documentation and Charla

The Documentation page loads Kaptr.me's help center from Charla. Visiting that page can cause your browser to connect to Charla domains and Charla may use the storage needed to deliver the embedded help-center functionality. The Charla script is not loaded across every marketing page.

4. Analytics and advertising technologies

The static marketing template in this build does not intentionally load non-essential analytics or advertising trackers. Other Kaptr.me surfaces have, however, been disclosed in the currently published production policy as using consent-based Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel. Where any of these technologies are enabled, they must remain disabled until the required consent is obtained.

If Kaptr.me enables session replay or another non-essential technology in the future, the same rule applies: consent-dependent storage remains disabled until the user has made the required choice. Audience measurement that qualifies for a legal consent exemption can be treated differently only when the exemption conditions are actually met.

5. Your choices

You can clear or restrict browser storage in your browser settings. If Kaptr.me introduces consent-based categories, the site will expose controls for accepting, refusing and later changing that choice. Essential authentication or security storage cannot always be disabled without preventing the requested account feature from working.
