Part 16: TERMS AND CONDITIONS – APPSUMO LICENSES KAPTR.ME
Campaign Period: April 2024 – September 2024
SECTION: APPSUMO LIFETIME LICENSES (TIERS 1 & 2)
DURATION AND OBLIGATION PERIOD
Lifetime licenses purchased via AppSumo Tiers 1 and 2 provide lifetime access to Kaptr.me as long as the service remains operational, subject to the technical limitations and plan configurations described below. Access is guaranteed provided that Kaptr.me maintains its core infrastructure (servers, extension compatibility).
Kaptr.me is obligated to maintain the technical endpoints (webhooks, licensing API) for a minimum of 6 months after the end of its participation in the AppSumo marketplace, per standard industry practices.
Kaptr.me reserves the right to adjust license features, limits, or configurations at any time to ensure service stability, performance, and sustainability, including in response to technical upgrades (e.g., V4 migration).
Beyond this 6-month technical maintenance period, Kaptr.me reserves the right to discontinue support for the license validation system at any time without notice. In the event of service discontinuation, access to the platform may be terminated immediately.
Upon expiration or discontinuation of this technical infrastructure, Kaptr.me may, at its sole discretion, modify the conditions of access, level of support, or proceed with license termination.
INCLUDED FEATURES AND UPDATE LIMITATIONS
AppSumo Tiers 1 and 2 licenses include:
Current plan limits as configured post-V4 migration (e.g., Tier 2: 30 dashboards and 30 captures per dashboard), which exceed standard commercial offerings and reflect real-world usage patterns analyzed from active accounts.
- Features existing as of the purchase date on AppSumo (Chrome extension, public/private dashboards, etc.)
- Features marked “Coming soon” in the AppSumo offer at the time of promotion (Email reporting, Snapshot history, Embed anywhere for Tier 2)
AppSumo license holders do NOT automatically receive:
- New features developed and deployed after the end of the AppSumo campaign
- Major updates (versions V4, V5, etc.) or substantial product changes
- Features that would be added to different product plans or tiers
The “Business Plan updates” obligation is limited to features that existed at the time of the campaign. After this date, the concept of “Business Plan” as a commercial pricing tier no longer exists as an active plan at Kaptr.me, notably following the product acquisition by Activmedia Diffusion on July 1, 2025.
Kaptr.me may adjust usage limits (dashboards, captures) based on technical requirements, performance optimization, or service sustainability. “Unlimited” references in original campaigns were conceptual and subject to practical implementation constraints.

- Resell, rent, or sublicense the license
- Transfer the license to another person, entity, or account
- Share access or login credentials with other users
- Assign the license as part of any commercial transaction or business acquisition
Any violation will result in immediate license termination without refund and permanent suspension of access.
